The Nature Conservancy wanted to highlight its efforts in protecting ecologically important lands and waters. Coastal Erosion Restoration showcases the TNC’s presence in Grande Isle Louisiana where they attempt to restore the gulf coast in order to prevent flooding, loss of habitat, and reduce the impacts of extreme weather on people and their property. This is among the series of seven Student of the World productions that spotlight the work that the Nature Conservancy is doing.

The Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) convenes global leaders to create and implement solutions to the world’s most pressing challenges. CGI wanted to bring their stories to life for their annual conference in Washington D.C. 35 production teams from 10 universities traveled to 102 countries to document the work of more than forty organizations and partners, including Livestrong, Brad Pitt’s Make it Right and Matt Damon’s water.org, from all around the world, ultimately resulting in over 100 Student of the World film productions since 2006.
