Make It Right
The Clinton Global Initiative

video production

Founded by Brad Pitt in 2007, the Make It Right Foundation is a nonprofit organization that works to build safe, green, and affordable homes for residents in the Lower 9th Ward of New Orleans. This video was produced by a Students of the World production team consisting of student filmmakers from Michigan, Harvard, and Duke, and screened at the Clinton Global Initiative 2010 Annual Meeting in
New York.

The Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) convenes global leaders to create and implement solutions to the world’s most pressing challenges. CGI wanted to bring their stories to life for their annual conference in Washington D.C. 35 production teams from 10 universities traveled to 102 countries to document the work of more than forty organizations and partners, including Livestrong, Brad Pitt’s Make it Right and Matt Damon’s water.org, from all around the world, ultimately resulting in over 100 Student of the World film productions since 2006.
